UK and International Delivery

We ship to customers in the United Kingdom, European Union and worldwide.

Shipping Rates

  • UK standard delivery: £4.90
  • UK next day delivery: £7.99
  • EU delivery: £15.00
  • International delivery: £25.00

Free UK Delivery

We offer free standard UK delivery on orders of £50 or more.

Please note:

  • Free delivery applies to standard UK delivery only
  • UK next day delivery is charged at £7.99 regardless of order value

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays).

Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking details where available.

Delivery Times

United Kingdom

  • Standard delivery: typically 1–3 business days after dispatch
  • Next day delivery: delivered the next business day after dispatch

European Union and International

Delivery times vary depending on destination and carrier but typically range from 2–12 business days after dispatch.

Please note that international delivery times may be affected by customs processing, local carrier handling and regional service conditions.

Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

For deliveries outside the UK, goods are supplied on a Delivered At Place (DAP) basis unless otherwise agreed.

This means:

  • You are responsible for any import VAT, customs duties or clearance fees charged by your country
  • Customs authorities may require payment before releasing the parcel
  • Failure to pay customs charges may result in the parcel being returned or destroyed without refund

We recommend checking with your local customs authority prior to ordering.

Courier Services

We use trusted courier and postal services to ensure safe and reliable delivery.

While we aim to meet all estimated delivery times, delivery dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our control.

Risk and Responsibility

Risk of loss passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Missing Parcels and Non-Delivery

If your order has not arrived, you must notify us in writing within 7 calendar days of the estimated delivery date shown at checkout or in your dispatch confirmation.

Failure to notify us within this timeframe may affect our ability to investigate the issue with the courier.

We review all delivery claims using available evidence, including:

  • Courier tracking updates
  • GPS delivery scans
  • Photographic delivery confirmation (where provided by the courier)

Where delivery records reasonably indicate that a parcel has been delivered, we may be unable to issue a replacement or refund unless compelling evidence of non-delivery is provided.

Fraud Prevention

Any suspected fraudulent activity, including false claims of non-delivery, is taken seriously.

We reserve the right to:

  • Decline refunds or replacements where evidence indicates delivery
  • Share relevant information with delivery partners
  • Report suspected fraud to appropriate authorities, including Action Fraud and the Police

Sustainable Packaging

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we may reuse packaging materials where appropriate.

This may include repurposed boxes or protective materials. While packaging appearance may vary, this does not compromise the safety or integrity of your order.

We appreciate your support in helping us reduce environmental impact.

Failure to Pay Customs Charges:

For international deliveries, goods are supplied on a Delivered At Place (DAP) basis unless otherwise stated.

This means the recipient is responsible for paying any applicable import VAT, customs duties, clearance fees or local taxes required by the destination country.

If a parcel is delayed, returned, abandoned or destroyed by customs or the carrier due to non-payment or refusal to pay customs charges, Armitage Tools will not be liable for any resulting loss.

In such circumstances, no refund will be issued, as the order will have been correctly dispatched in accordance with the customer’s order and the failure to complete delivery is outside our control.
