Returns Policy

We offer a 14-day returns period. This means you have 14 calendar days from the day you receive your item to request a return.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must be returned:

  • In the same condition as received - unused and unaltered
  • With all original packaging, accessories and inserts
  • With any tags, labels or seals intact (where applicable)
  • With proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

We reserve the right to refuse a return or make a deduction from the refund if returned goods show signs of use, damage, missing parts, or are not returned in a resaleable condition.

2. How to Start a Return

Please include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. If your return is accepted, we will provide return instructions and, where applicable, a returns slip.

Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

3. Return Address and Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.

4. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you believe your item is faulty, damaged in transit, or you have received the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible at admin@armitageonlineltd.co.uk so we can investigate and resolve the issue.

Where an item is confirmed as faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will offer an appropriate remedy in line with your statutory rights - which may include repair, replacement or refund - and we will confirm next steps and any return arrangements.

5. Non-Returnable Items and Exceptions

Certain items are non-returnable. These include (where applicable):

  • Custom-made or personalised items, special orders or made-to-order products
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
  • Gift cards

Sale items: unless an item is faulty or misdescribed, we do not accept returns on sale items.

If you are unsure whether an item can be returned, please contact us before placing your order.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer a direct exchange service. The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item (subject to approval) and place a new order separately.

7. UK and EU Consumer Cancellation Rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU purchasing online, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it for any reason.

If you cancel under your statutory right to cancel, you must take reasonable care of the goods and return them in the condition described in this policy. You may be responsible for any reduction in value if the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

8. Refunds

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item(s) and notify you whether your refund is approved.

If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to process and display the refund.
